Senior Club Application

Each team must provide one trained and cleared safeguarding lead who is responsible for player, member, supporter and visitor welfare during any fixture or event they are involved in.
Preferred Game Day

We confirm that it is not possible to change kit colours during the season without permission of the executive committee and will ensure all kits are compliant with Basketball England rules.

We confirm that we will provide competent table officials who are BE members, available to officiate the table at all home games. The club can also provide the technical equipment as set in article 40 of the Basketball England rule book.

We confirm that our team will provide a level 2 qualified referee that will cover a minimum of 10-12 games throughout the season. If we are unable to provide a referee, we will provide a member that will be available to take part in the association’s referee development program.

We confirm that all players/coaches/officials/referees must be licensed with the Dorset Basketball Association via the Basketball England portal and that members are not permitted to play or coach for any other club in the association without permission of the executive committee.

We confirm that by filling in this form and submitting our application, all league entry fees ( around £60.00 but confirmed in years in August) plus a holding deposit (£50.00*) are now due for this team.

If you already have a deposit with the league this may be rolled over from previous season.

APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL ASSOCIATED FEES ARE PAID.
